The Melville Minor Hockey Association is excited to announce its participation in the Bauer First Shift program, aimed at introducing young athletes to the joy of hockey. This initiative is designed to provide children, who may not have had the opportunity to try the sport, with a comprehensive introduction to the game.

Participants will receive head-to-toe equipment, including skates, a stick, and protective gear, ensuring they are fully equipped for their first experience on the ice. The program offers a series of on-ice sessions led by certified coaches, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and most importantly, having fun.

This initiative not only encourages physical activity but also fosters a sense of community among families. The Melville Minor Hockey Association believes that hockey is for everyone and is committed to making the sport accessible to all children, regardless of their background or experience level.

Registration details and further information about the Bauer First Shift program can be found on the Melville Minor Hockey Association's website. Families are encouraged to sign up soon, as spaces are limited. Let's get ready to hit the ice and create lasting memories!
